Bandit was laid under a shady tree happily watching the clouds go he enjoyed this it was great as he rocked form left to right imitating the swaying of a ship he lit the cigarette in his mouth taking a few drags as he thought silently to himself of the days gone when pirates used to rule the open seas and nothing could stop them. Admittedly he missed those days but at least he could still state that he was true a pirate one who never forsook the pirate code as a bottle of rum appeared in his open hand he uncorked it and took a long swallow of the dark sweet tasting nectar that was at his command.
“One hundred and seventy-five years I've lived and what have I accomplished sure I've been part of some of the most dangerous and famous pirate crews but I haven’t really done much with my life, I don’t even know what I am which is just ridiculous, I mean all I have is the rum and these silly things called cigarettes which taste funny but give me a small rush.” Thinking about what he said the Oushaga wondered about what he really was he definitely wasn't human especially considering every time he joined a new pirate crew in his youth he was always considered a liar when he would say how much experience he had, he cursed how young he looked always wishing he could age even just a little.
“Curse my eternal youth I wish I was just like every other human normal not cursed to look like I'm in the prime of my life all the time F*ck it what do I care what anyone thinks of me not like anyone bothers with me, even the damn shop keeps throw these damn cigarettes at me just to get rid of me.” Glaring at the clouds as one that looked like a ship sailed by he cursed and swore with every insult and profanity he had at his disposal even using one or two very old pirate terms, sighing to himself as he fashioned a small knife out of water he cut into his left arm where a multitude of cuts had healed rolling the sleeve down on his hoody he silently started crying mournfully for those he couldn't join as he finished off the bottle of rum and another appeared in his empty hand.
Slowly calming down from his moment of weakness Bandit stood up and climbed the tree finding a nice large branch in which to lay down and go to sleep eventually finding one he slipped his hoody off folded it into a makeshift pillow and silently fell into a restful slumber

A small smile framed the feminine brunette's lips as she walked through the park. Her long hair was let down, swaying softly against her back as the sun shone brightly on it and made its rich strands grow hot. Fayton had nothing to do today, since it was the weekend and her family was busy, so that was why she had decided to come and wander through the park. She didn't really have many friends apart from her siblings and students, so she all by her lonesome self this afternoon. She didn't mind the solitude, though. Sometimes it was just nice to get away a little, if even for only an hour or so. Her family was... Crazy. They were still hellbent on finding a way to take down the Kriotags, and honestly, she didn't really want to play a single part in that. The Kriotags actually weren't that bad... And she almost felt a connection to them that was just as strong as the one she had for her own blood. It was strange, and she didn't really know how to explain it, since it was silly in all honesty, but still. Sometimes she just couldn't help but look at them and feel as if she belonged more on that side of the line than the one she was on now. She often over-analyzed little things like that, though. She was probably just overexaggerating her feelings on the matter.
The young woman felt her smile grow as she passed a mother tending to her small son. The little boy was absolutely adorable! His white-blonde hair shone brightly in the sunlight, and he had eyes that were almost just as blue as her own. Fayton waved broadly to the child, happiness soaring through her as he smiled and waved back in the clumsy way that many children did. Much too cute. A sad feeling momentarily tugged at her as she turned away and continued walking down the pathway. She had never had luck with love. And having children without love, without somebody to share that amazing experience with, was just not going to happen. Ever. A sigh escaped the girl's mouth as she walked. "Forever alone" seemed like the perfect term to label her as right now. In all her years, she had never been able to claim a man's heart like he had claimed hers. She had fallen in love twice, and after a potential third time she completely gave up on the idea of her finding happiness in her other half. She suspected that she didn't have another half out there, after all this time. She simply had to be a mistake, a puzzle made without all the right pieces.
Fayton steered herself off the pathway she had been following and went straight for a well-sized tree, its long limbs stretching widely and creating a great blanket of shade to hide under in protection from the sun. The Seskrit plopped down near the trunk and reached around to her large purse, pulling out a notebook and a pen as she made herself comfy. She nestled back against the bark, her glasses resting lightly atop the bridge of her nose, and she started to flip through her notebook, having to go through quite the number of pages before reaching the first available blank sheet. Right when she was about to start scribbling down words, she heard something above her, and she slowly tipped her head back so she could see the source of the noise. It had been quiet, something that a human would have easily missed, but her enhanced hearing had caught it in a second. The girl's eyes widened as she saw a man lounging on a branch above her. Now that was unexpected. Scrambling up to her feet quickly, she clutched her notebook tightly and threw her pen up at the stranger, acting a bit on impulse in her surprise. Maybe she had put just a little bit too much force behind that throw... No matter, what was this man doing, choosing a tree to rest in? "Umm, hello, excuse me?" she called up, her glasses glinting as some of the sun's rays slipped between the leaves and hit the rims.

Bandit had been resting quite peacefully dreaming of days gone by when suddenly something hit him square in the back of the head jumping at the sudden disturbance he fell from the branch he had laid on bumping and crashing into every other branch until he finally hit the floor sprawled spread eagled like a, well a starfish in his own opinion Scowling as he got listening to the other people in the park he scoured the area and noticed a very beautiful and bewildered girl standing underneath where he was sleeping eventually speaking to her in a sleepy and rather unhappy tone "Are ye the one who knocked me from me branch all the way up yonder cos let me tell thee it wasn't polite, who goes throwing things at people especially when they are sleeping?"
Unable to muster anymore words to show how upset he was he offered his hand to the girl a smile on his lips his frustrations and anger dissipating as a large bottle of eighteen thirty eight rum appeared in his hand uncorking it with his mouth as he began to drink it giving his name to the young lady infront of him afterward "Me names Bandit and what pray tell oh beautiful maiden is yours?" though a pirate he still had manners and new how to treat a lady even if he didn't know her well he had been taught treat all ladies with respect and kindness. The more Bandit looked at this girl the more he felt a sense of happiness and belonging which was weird and completely insane considering he had only just met her and he didn't know her name or whether she would even want to know him in the first place his head was spinning round and round like a dog chasing it's own tail.
shaking his head clear Bandit slumped down the tree as his legs gave way and he let out a few choice curse words as he felt the pain in his right "Bloody blithering bilge rat." clutching his right leg as he finally touched the ground he looked at the beautiful girl he had just met a plea for help in his eyes as he tried to bend his leg again cursing in pain as his leg returned to it's original straight position. glaring at the ground he just emptied his bottle of rum and chuckled as the bottle disappeared into nothingness another bottle appearing as he quickly uncorked it and drained it to numb the pain.

Oh dear. A bright shade of pink flooded the young woman's cheeks as she looked at the aftermath of what she had done. She hadn't meant to hit him that hard! All she wanted to do was get his attention... Fayton stood there for a moment, completely embarrassed at what she had done. The poor man was flat on his back, his arms and legs spread wide. He would kinda look like a star if one was looking down on him. Shaking the thought from her mind, Fayton blushed more as the stranger spoke. His words, as well as just the overall sound of his voice, were very intriguing to her ears, but she still couldn't shake her chagrin. Holding her notebook tightly in her hands, Fayton felt her eyebrows tip upward in apology as she slowly nodded in answer to his question. "I-I... Yes, I did. I'm sorry!" she cried out, her gentle voice still quiet as she figured she may as well live up to it. There was no point in denying what she had done. The man had witnessed it firsthand. "I guess I was just startled and I kinda reacted on impulse..." she mumbled lowly, watching as he stood and outstretched his hand to her. The smile on his face caught her off-guard for a moment, and after a second of staring she suddenly responded, meeting his hand with her own and shaking it delicately. Another blush warmed her porcelain skin, and she lowered her eyes, blinking widely as she caught sight of a bottle of rum. Where had that come from?
Taking a small step back, Fayton placed both hands back onto her notebook and held it closely to her torso. Her blue eyes lingered on the man's face for perhaps a moment too long, and after she realized this, she quickly turned her gaze away, pointing it down to her feet as she dug the toe of her shoe into the grass and dirt. His introduction was kind, surprising her, and she quickly looked back up. He spoke oddly, but she overlooked that for the time being. "I'm Fayton. Fayton Seskrit," she replied, a small smile appearing on her shapely lips. Usually, she didn't use her last name, since many found it as a reason to run away from her now after the reputation her family had earned itself from the feud with the Kriotags. This man, Bandit as he had introduced himself, didn't seem like everybody else, though. As she stood there in his company, she felt no need to fear him, or what he may do. Which was odd, considering she had started off by chucking her pen at him, and he was now drinking alcohol that appeared to have come out of nowhere, but oh well. Fayton was used to the odd things in life by now. She was still greatly embarrassed about the whole knocking him out of a tree thing, though. That was perhaps just a little bit too rash of behavior for her to have used. She couldn't help herself, though! He had surprised her and her body had acted on its own. It was too late now to change things, anyways. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't go back in time and change the course of events.
The girl's dark eyebrows drew together as Bandit slowly began to descend from her line of sight. Watching him as he lowered himself to sit against the tree, Fayton couldn't help but feel a strong pang of regret and guilt in her chest. This man had done nothing wrong, and she had hit him harshly for it. "Are you okay...?" she asked, her eyes trailing down to the leg he was gripping tightly. The woman tugged at her bottom lip with her teeth in even more guilt as her eyes slid up and met with Bandit's. It was obviously her fault that he had injured his leg. Only pausing slightly in surprise when he somehow managed to make a new bottle of rum appear from nothing, Fayton quickly kneeled down beside his right leg and went to put her hands on it. Her touch was feather light, but she frowned as she realized there wasn't much that she could do by herself. She wasn't like her sister Emerissa, she didn't have the gift of being able to heal others. Looking over at Bandit as she ran her fingers along his leg, she felt her glasses slip down her nose slightly, but she didn't move to put them back in place. "Okay, um... I'm really sorry, I really, really am. Can you tell me where it hurts?" she questioned, pressing down lightly against the top and side of his knee with both hands as she looked back down to her work. "Here?" she asked quietly, flushing lightly again as she realized she was touching a man she had only just met. Oh, what had she gotten herself into?

Bandit Grimaced slightly as he felt Fayton's feather light touch against his battered and bruised leg smiling though as he watched Fayton trying to help him he for some reason he couldn't take his jet black eyes off of her perfect form it was mesmerizing he eventually snapped out of his enchanted state when he felt pressure on his injure leg yelping a little "Ow tha' bloody urts." taking another quick hit from the bottle in his hand taking it slow as he didn't his new, what would he call her his mind raced in circles as he tried to figure what she was too him 'Matey ney that would just upset her, wench definitely not she's too beautiful for that plus I don't want her hurting me because she means it, I know she's a friend.' Looking back at Fayton a smile crossed his lips as he spoke the words escaping his mouth a jumbled messed up mass of gibberish "You're friend Fayton my first sixty-five in years." realising that what he had wasn't even comprehensible Bandit immediately shut up and looked at the ground completely ashamed that he couldn't even say a simple sentence properly.
Attempting to bend his leg so that he could atleast hobble to the nearest place to sit down that wasn't located at base zero he let out yet another howl falling back to the floor in a heap as he let out a defeated sigh, bandit fallen out of a crows nest in ship higher than the branch eh was sat in yet he could walk away fine and not bat an eyelash yet he couldn't walk away from this he felt deflated and beaten by the world that had so cruelly taken away all that he held dear sure there was the rum and those who took pity on the young street urchin begging for a meal, well that's everybody else called him infact he had started believing what they said about him himself. Taking another hit from the bottle he finished it another taking it's place at his command as he turned to Fayton and smiled at her "Can I tell you a secret Fayton you are the only person in my long long life that has actually captured my heart."
Not sure whether his honesty would be the end of a friendship or the start of something new Bandit sat there and allowed the young and very beautiful girl to tend to his injured leg without argument in honesty he was glad and thankful of the physical contact between himself and another being even if he did get the feeling that it made his new friend uncomfortable. He hated being in positions where others didn't feel at ease or felt as though they were forcing themselves to do it out of either pity or remorse it just upset him that others were doing something for him when they didn't have to or they didn't want

The feeling of being closely watched plagued the back of the brunette's mind, and she had to remind herself that she wasn't being judged. Or, maybe she was, she couldn't read his mind after all, but the feel of his gaze on her wasn't necessarily making her feel bad or uncomfortable. It was more... Intimate. It caused shivers to tumble down her spine, and she had to focus heavily on her job at hand to keep her reactions from showing. When she pressed down lightly against his knee, she got an immediate reaction, and the girl quickly retracted her hands in response to his outcry. "Oh gosh, okay, I take that as a yes." Fayton quickly glanced over to Bandit, her expression worried, and she frowned some as she watched him take a quick gulp of his rum. She honestly hadn't meant to hurt him... At least now she knew where the problem lay. His knee. He must have hit it while falling, or landed on it weird. Either way, it was injured now, and she was determined to find a way to help him. The girl went to turn back to tend to his injury when Bandit spoke up, his words coming out in a jumbled mash-up. Fayton blinked at Bandit, trying to decipher what he meant for a second. Friend... Sixty-five in years... My first... A small smile lit up the girl's face as she quickly readjusted the sentence in her mind. Did he mean she was his first friend in sixty-five years? That was nice... And now she knew for certain that he was not a simple human.
"Really?" she asked, about to say more on the matter when Bandit suddenly went to stand. Fayton forgot completely about what she was going to say, and even what he had said for that matter, as she quickly pushed herself up into a standing position too, her arms flying out instinctively as she went to catch him. "No no no, don't do that! You'll hurt yourself even mor-!" the girl cut herself off as Bandit slipped between her fingers and tumbled back to the ground. Her cheeks burned and she settled back down in her previous spot beside his leg, quickly tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and fixing her glasses as she frowned down at his knee. "I'm sorry! Okay... Um..." Fayton trailed off and looked back up to Bandit, his words resonating in her mind. He couldn't possibly have meant that... Could he? He had just met her, and she had hit him with her pen and caused this whole mess in the first place! How could he possibly like her? Then again... Fayton swallowed, not allowing herself to fall too easily as she glanced down to the bottle of rum in his hand. Alcohol had a knack for making people say things they didn't mean. And judging by how much he had already drained just since she had arrived, she didn't doubt that it could already definitely be affecting his thought processes. Planting a smile on her face, Fayton nodded and gave Bandit a light pat on the shoulder. She wasn't sure whether or not she should take any of his words literally.
Turning back to his knee, Fayton resisted the frown that was trying to slip its way onto her lips and gently placed her hands back onto the joint, occupying her mind as best she could. "Um... Okay, right... Well, I can't really do much. I'm not a doctor, and I don't want to hurt you any more than I already have, so I think the best thing for us to do would be for me to take you to the hospital... At least there you would get proper medical attention, and they could x-ray your knee to see just what's wrong with it, because who knows, maybe you broke something leading up to it, or maybe you didn't break anything at all and then they would probably say you pulled some muscles or tore them or something! I know that torn ligaments can hurt really bad, maybe that's what you did. Or... Um..." The girl blinked. She had a tendency for talking insanely like that. She would just shoot off in endless rants about everything and anything if given the chance. Luckily, those closest to her knew this little flaw of hers, and they were always prepared to step in and cut her short before she got too far off. "S-sorry," she mumbled quietly, her cheeks warming again as she stared down to her hands on his knee. She had created such a mess. Looking back to Bandit, Fayton smiled lightly and then went to stand, leaning down and offering both of her hands to him once she gained her footing. "So does that sound okay?" she asked, her eyes bright behind her glasses as she quickly moved on from her embarrassing quirks.

Pondering what Fayton had said as he weighed his options in his mind he nodded and smiled at Fayton as gently and carefully gripped her hands looking puzzled and ever so slightly confused frowning "Hospital what pray tell is a hospital?" Unaware that he sounded completely mad as he shook his head in shame at how little he had learned of this newer more advanced world that he was trapped in with out escape sighing in defeat as he attempted to pull himself up if only just to help Fayton drag him to his feet grimacing slightly as his leg started to bend he spoke only slightly audibly "Must fight through the pain. That sounds good I trust you." making his way to a semi standing position between being leaning over and standing trying to catch his breathe as he puffed and panted trying to fill his lungs with even the smallest amount of air.
"Think I'm getting to old for this sort of thing, that or I'm just very unlucky in how I landed." Chuckling as he poke Bandit gave a rueful smile as he straightened himself out using Fayton as sort of anchor in which to steady himself leaning against her his cheeks turning red as he looked at how beautiful the girl that was helping him was he went silent instantly trying to figure out trying to find the right words to say even if it was just a simple thankyou, though a simple thankyou wasn't enough she could have just used her cell phone thinga-ma-jig to call for one of those self powered wagon's that carried people around to collect him and take him tot his hospital thing.
"Thankyou Fayton you are too kind you didn't have to stay and help me but you did you are truly a kind hearted person Thankyou very much after this I would maybe umm like to buy you lunch is it?" Bandit looked at the floor to hide the red in his face he wasn't used to being seen as vulnerable it was a new feeling for him and it made him want to hide away somewhere secluded and quiet. Yet he felt confident and safe inexplicably but he did, Bandit felt like a person again not like some item or novelty nobody wanted anymore.
